Guest Artists Space Foundation (G.A.S.) is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to fill the role of Managing Director to be based full time at Guest Artists Space Foundation in Lagos, Nigeria. This unique opportunity is perfect for someone who truly embraces the creative and cultural sector in Nigeria and is eager to make a substantial impact. As the Managing Director, you will oversee the administration, practical operations, programming, and local fundraising efforts of this Lagos-based organisation, acting on behalf of the board.
Working closely with the partner organisation, Yinka Shonibare Foundation (Y.S.F.), and the board of Trustees, you will ensure the Guest Artists Space Foundation maintains effective finance, legal compliance, and good governance. Additionally, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the residency space in Lagos, as well as the farm in Ijebu. Leading a small and dynamic team, you will spearhead the successful execution of all residencies, projects, partnerships, and events. To excel in this position, you must possess an entrepreneurial spirit, flexibility, and a creative problem-solving mindset, along with exceptional organisation, project management, and interpersonal skills.
